Meadowlands Moneymakers is a weekly series where I tell you my favorite betting plays on NY Giants and NY Jets Games. Why ? Because we need a good reason to watch these two bottom feeders.

In this edition we’re talking teaser and top props for the Cowboys and Jets.

Cowboys @ Jets

Sunday, 4:25 PM

What the Falk?!

Thankfully, QB Sam Darnold is back from a bout of mono, and under center at home against the 3-2 Dallas Cowboys. While his return will likely result in a better showing by the Jets offense this week, it won’t be enough for a win against a visiting high-octane offense that needs a win to keep pace with Philadelphia in the two-horse NFC East

For one glorious Sunday, the Philadelphia Eagles defense put it all together, and unleashed a Super Bowl-caliber onslaught against a completely overmatched Jets offense. They were “led” by utterly unprepared QB Luke Falk, who took 9 of Philly’s 10 sacks on the day, while tossing two interceptions and fumbling twice – including a pick-6 and fumble return for a TD. Yikes.

Teaser Pick:

I’ll be taking a 6.5-point teaser offered by PointsBet, with a -110 line for the Cowboys to win, and the combined score to be over 36.5.

Meadowlands Moneymakers – Top 3 Prop Bets

After last week’s sad showing, I’m shunning Jets player props for Week 6, and sticking with two tempting Cowboy bets:

Top Prop #1 Amari Cooper with get 125+ receiving yards

$100 to win $250 (+250) @ PointsBet

Cooper just torched the Green Bay Packers for 226 yards and a TD in a Week 5 loss. After dropping two straight, the 3-2 Cowboys need this game against an 0-5 opponent to right the ship. The value on this bet stems from the Jets secondary holding its own last week in Philadelphia during a disgraceful outing by Gang Green’s offense. Top Eagles receiver, Zach Ertz did score a TD, but was held to 57 yards overall. I expect top Cowboys WR Cooper to more than double that number in East Rutherford on Sunday.

Top Prop #2 Cowboys will score 35+

$100 to win $400 (+400) @ PointsBet

Again, this may seem like a team prop, but its achievement rests squarely on the MVP-caliber throwing arm of Cowboys QB Dak Prescott. The last time he led the Dallas offense against a Meadowlands-dwelling opponent, was a 35-17 Week 1 home victory against the Giants. As prolific a passer as Prescott has proven to be in 2019, the Cowboys have yet to score 35 again, since that win. Now, on the road in East Rutherford, Prescott is motivated to put the Jets away with a big day – ensuring Dallas doesn’t fall to 3-3.

Top Prop #3 Cowboys team total double play – Dallas first to score 25 points

+106 ($100 to win $106) @ UniBetNJ

Since I like the Cowboys 35+ points prop, I’m going to back it up with this play at UniBet NJ. To score 35 points, Dallas will first have to score 25 points. The Jets cannot score 25 points.

My play will be to split the bet between this and the 35+ prop above. So I’ll still be a few coins in the black if the long per shot doesn’t hit, but the Cowboys put up 25 or more.

Unibet is giving players a free $20 to try their site, with no deposit required. My free $20 will be on this one.
