The Cheap Shots

W/ Luther Broughton & Micah Warren

SPORTS, MOSTLY, UNTIL SOMEONE FUNKS IT ALL UP!

“Cheap Shots”, presented by The Props Network. The hosts, Luther and Micah have an unhealthy addiction to sports. While they’re always talking about the NFL, they’ll debate just about anything sports related. “Cheap Shots” will cover the biggest events of the past week and let Luther and Micah sound off with their opinions and predictions. Expect big name guests to join the show as well as regular rants from Luther about why he can’t stand stupid people! You’ll want to join the fun, because if it’s sports, they’ll be talking about it!

Luther Broughton

Luther Broughton

Former NFL tight end for the Philadelphia Eagles and the Carolina Panthers.

Luther Rashard Broughton, Jr. (born November 30, 1974 in Charleston, South Carolina) is a former American football tight end in the National Football League who played for the Carolina Panthers and the Philadelphia Eagles.

He graduated and played his high school football at Cainhoy High School in Huger, South Carolina. He played college football at Furman University.

He was drafted by the Eagles in the fifth round (155th overall) of the 1997 NFL Draft. The 6’2″, 248 pound tight end, however, played for the Panthers in 1998. That season, Broughton played in 16 games and had six receptions for 142 yards and a touchdown. On September 5, 1999, Broughton was traded to the Eagles and played for the Eagles in 1999 and 2000. In 1999, he played in 16 games and had 26 receptions for 295 yards and four touchdowns. In 2000, he played in seven games and had 12 receptions for 104 yards. In 2001, he signed as a free agent with the Panthers and played for them again, having two receptions for 22 yards in his 14 games played. He was signed as a free agent with the Chicago Bears in 2002. He was later released and signed with the Green Bay Packers in 2003.

Micah Warren

Micah Warren

Micah Warren is an award-winning journalist (not true at all) who has been recognized around the world for his philanthropic efforts (also not true).

He began writing and editing for GCobb.com (11-year NFL veteran Garry Cobb) in 2007 and became the sports editor for Blast Magazine in 2008. The only thing he’s really done of any significance is break the Asante Samuel signing when he signed as a free agent with the Philadelphia Eagles. He was a frequent guest on 94 WIP in Philadelphia and co-hosted radio shows on Voice America with Cobb and another with Luther Broughton. He’s now re-booting that same “Cheap Shots” show with Luther Broughton on this network, with the hope of one day sending all proceeds to himself.

Micah got his degree from Boston University, but he tends to only bring that up in conversation when their hockey team is in the Frozen Four.
