Hard to believe it’s already Week 8 of the NFL season and if the weather changing isn’t enough of a reminder; we enter the first Sunday of Fall losing gaining an hour sleep, but plunging into the darkness an hour earlier which this guy despises!

On to the Stone Cold Lead Pipe Locks!

Starting things off in Denver where the Broncos have been offensively challenged all year hosting a Colts team which has played all 6 games decided by 7 points or less – winning 4 of them. Broncos in look ahead mode unloading WR Emmanuel Sanders. Indy is battling Houston for the top spot in the South and laying 6 on the road. I’ll go the Colts laying the points

In Chicago, another big test for Mitch Trubisky and the Bears offense against a banged up and so far disappointing Chargers team. LA hasn’t been able to run the ball: dead last in the NFL at 2.1 yards per carry. Phillip Rivers plays better on the road than at home, but this is a much bigger game for a Bears team expecting to compete in the NFC playoff chase. Bears minus the 4 pts

The Atlanta Falcons are the undisputed champs of being the worst team in the league with the best talent. Zero home field advantage and especially atrocious against AFC teams. the 1-6 dying birds are starting to shed feathers knowing the run is over after trading Mohammad Sanu to the Pats. Seattle is coming in off a  loss and has won and covered the last 3 on the road. Hawks turn the Falcons into the prey this Sunday. Seattle  Seahawks – 6 is the play

Finally, The Jacksonville Jaguars are home and hope to scare the NY Jets like the Patriots did on MNF. Sam Darnold was seeing ghosts at home and his offensive line may turn him into a walking dead if they can’t protect him Sunday. Jags can run, CJ Moseley is already out after 1 game back and I’ll lay the 6 pts with the Jags
