Denver has some wacky weather this time of year. It could snow one day, or, like today be 78 degrees and a low of 50. So remove that as a factor. We do know the Chiefs are banged up on offense and their defense is brutal against the run. How good is Pat Mahomes ankle where his 2nd half numbers have decreased during the 2 game losing steak.
The Broncos have lost 4 straight in this series haven’t beaten the Chiefs since Sept of 2015. Von Miller has only 2 1/2 sacks so far but the team has played well after a slow start. Roye Freeman and Phillip Lindsay are the best 1-2 backfield tandem in the NFL right now while KC has been gouged by the last 5 backs with only Josh Jacobs of Oakland just falling short of 100 with 99.
My heart says must win for Denver, but my brain says KC isn’t going to drop 3 in a row. I’m laying the 3 with the Chiefs and also adding the under 49 as a bonus play hoping to hit the 10-1 mark on Thursday.
