We shopped the Bills vs a Texans props. Here are our favorite bets for the NFL wild card matchup.

  • Buffalo Bills at Houston Texans
  • Saturday, 4:35 PM EST

Bills vs Texans best prop bets from around the world of legal online betting.

Prop #1: Under 4.5 touchdowns total in the game.

We like the under 43 in this game and think it will be in the 30s. So five TDs feels like a lot. Also notice the heavy minus odds on either team to have 2.5 TDs. Odds Are: -113 at Unibet NJ and PA ($113 to win $100).

Prop #2: Josh Allen 1st Touchdown Accelerator

Josh Allen 1st touchdown accelerator can be found in the Pointsbetting section of the Buf vs Hou additional bets. The Bills QB had 9 rushing TDs this season and scored the first touchdown of the game on multiple occasions. With the accelerator the payout grows if Allen scores multiple TDs, and you can still make a profit or recoup some wager if he scores but not the first TD. Find it: in the Pointsbetting market at Pointsbet.

Prop #3: Carlos Hyde Over 64.5 Total Rushing Yards

The Bills rank 10th in the league in overall rushing defense, according to pro-football-reference.com. However, they haven’t been great run-stopper recently. Week 17 they rested their starters, but gave up 86 yards to Lev Bell (who skips games to bowl in leather pants). And in the five previous weeks, they gave up 85 or more on the ground four times and over 100 three times. Hyde quietly ranked 12th in the league in rushing yards this year and eclipsed the 64.5 total nine times. Odds Are: -112 at Draftkings

Prop #4: Under 22.5 Points by Home Team.

The total has gone under in 5 of the Bills last 6 games. Tre’Davious White on Hopkins will limit the Texans ability to score. Stick to the low scoring game script with this bet. Odds Are: -114 at Unibet NJ and PA ($114 to win $100).

Prop #5: John Brown to Score a Touchdown and the Bills Win

I’m betting on the Bills in this game. While Houston shows up in big games in the regular season, they do not do that in the playoffs. The Bills have the pieces to shut down Houston’s few weapons, and the coaching advantage is clear for Buffalo. While there might not be a lot of fireworks in this one, it seems like a game where a big play could be the difference. John Brown has been ‘mr’ big play for the Bills. Recently he scored a 53 yard bomb against the Pats. The Houston secondary isn’t as good as New Englands, so we like this combo of the Bills winning and Brown scoring. Odds Are: +600 at William Hill NJ. That’s a $100 bet to win $600!

VALUE ALERT: This line is closer to +400 at most other NJ sportsbooks.
