Australian based sportsbook operator PointsBet paid out a “Ticket” (That’s a million dollars) in New Jersey for NFL Week 1. The million dollar in payouts was exclusively through it’s unique betting option “Points Betting”. A majority of this payout came from one lucky bettor who received a $600,000 max payout for a $30,000 wager on the Baltimore Ravens at -6. The bettor also set a maximum of 20X the bet. That’s a lot of scratch on the line and it certainly paid off (pun intended) for this lucky bettor. As a result, this single win represents the largest Pointsbetting wager and largest win ever in the US to date.
