NFL Week 3 Tony Bruno Stone Cold Lead Pipe Locks

NFL Week 3: Great news is my locks have been golden on Monday and Thursday nights so far where I’m a combined 7-1 after the Gardner Minshew show in Jacksonville Thursday Night.

Recapping:

The overall record is a profitable 12-5, but that kind of mediocrity doesn’t fly with this guy! 5-4 on Sundays, and as Cher once said: SNAP OUT OF IT!!!

Sunday

(1pm EST) Baltimore Ravens vs. Kansas City Chiefs

The juiciest game on the menu is kicks off at 1pm in Kansas City where the biggest question isn’t beef or pork at the Arrowhead tailgate offerings. Will Patrick Mahomes be able to slice and dice against the Baltimore Ravens AND can Lamar Jackson pass and run enough to keep it close enough to steal a win against a Chiefs team that has won and covered 9 straight September games? I’m smelling what the Ravens are cooking and can sniff a crab cake cover of the 6 1/2. Yes, I’m hungry .

(1pm EST) Atlanta Falcons vs. Indianapolis Colts

Atlanta got a must win at home against a banged up Eagles team last Sunday night, but now they must crank it up against the Colts on the road. The Falcons have struggled against AFC teams on the road, while Indy hasn’t fared well in home openers the last 5 years. If Adam Viniteri can make a few kicks for a change, I see a Colts win and cover of the modest 2-pt spread.

(4:05pm EST) New York Giants vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Lots of new faces all around the league this weekend and no bigger spot than the debut of Daniel Jones grabbing the reigns from Eli Manning and the Giants in Tampa. The Bucs have been inconsistent while the G-Men have been brutal on defense. Something has to give and the Giants 6 1/2 pts is too tempting to pass up.

(4:05pm EST) Carolina Panthers vs. Arizona Cardinals

Finally, in the late game battle of winless squads I think we’re going to see the pesky Arizona Cardinals get their first win of the season against the Carolina Panthers in the desert. Kyler Murray is getting better and closer each week and 23-yr old Kyle Allen is set to start in place of a banged up Cam Newton for the Panthers. Arizona for the win as a 2 1/2 pt home dog.

Check back every Monday for the Mr Monday Night Stone Cold, Lead Pipe Lock and on Thursday for the Weekly TNF lock and good luck!
