The Eagles will take on the Seattle Seahawks today at 1 PM.
This is an enormous spot for both teams. The Eagles need a win to keep their NFC East division hopes alive. Also, a head to head win against the Seahawks would keep the Birds in the hunt for a wild card berth. Last week the Eagles offense looked bad in a losing effort to New England. While Seattle was the first team to take down the undefeated 49ers, before enjoying a bye in week 11.
So, the outlook is not good here for Philadelphia. They are facing a red hot QB, a great coach and a rested roster. Seattle likely won’t fall into the early East Coast game trap here, so you can expect them to be focused.
THE PICK: I hate to say it, but I’m picking Seattle as a 1 point underdog here. Maybe I’ll just visit the props market instead.

TOP PROP #1 – ZACH ERTZ OVER/UNDER 60.5 YARDS RECEIVING
Did you watch the Eagles receivers last week? Nelson Agholor has hands made of recycled bowling balls and Carson Wentz has zero good options at wide out. Alshon Jeffery is on track to play today in his return from an ankle injury, but he has not been productive even at full health. So the two tight ends are likely to be the best pass catchers for the Eagles today.
Last week, the Pats D tried to keep Ertz in check and he still totaled 9 catches for 94 yards in the game. Dallas Goedert had 36 yards, and caught the lone TD, but it was Ertz who lead the Eagles in both catches and yardage by a long shot.
I think Ertz can have another big game against a Seahawks secondary that has not been great, and ranks middle of the road in most categories. I’ll take OVER 60.5 Yards for Zach.
TOP PROP #2 – DALLAS GOEDERT TO SCORE A TOUCHDOWN
Like I said above, the tight ends are the best options in the Eagles passing game. While Goedert doesn’t get at ton of production in terms of yardage, he is a favorite red zone target for Wentz.
With 3 Touchdowns in the last four games, I’m feeling good about his chances to reel in another score today. Let’s go with 1 TD FOR DALLAS GOEDERT and a payout of +225.

TOP PROP #3 -JADEVEON CLOWNEY OVER/UNDER 0.5 SACKS
Clowney might just stuff the Eagle QB like a turkey today. Last week, the Pats sacked Wentz 5 times. And back in week 9, the Bears took him down 4 times.
Now, Jadeveon has not been racking up the sacks so far this year. In fact, he only has 3 on the season. But if you were watching the Seahawks MNF game against the 49ers, then you know that Clowney had Jimmy G running for his life. He had 1 sack in the game, but he was close to several more.
To get one sack on Carson Wentz today seems very doable for Jadeveon Clowney. Serve up the OVER 0.5 SACKS at +105. Or, for some extra juice on Seattle sacks, take the ‘Total Sacks By Away Team’ at OVER 2.5, for a +131 payout at Unibet.
