A matchup between two superpowered offenses is set to go down on Sunday afternoon. The Los Angeles Rams, fresh off a win over the Cardinals, are set to face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Matthew Stafford was able to grab the first playoff win of his career last week, can he go even further? With the Rams offense, we aren’t sure if there’s anything he can’t do.

The Buccaneers are dealing with a lot of injuries heading into this game. They got the win over the Eagles last week but unfortunately lost a few pieces along the way.

Surprisingly enough, the Buccaneers still come in as the favorite. Will injuries prevent the Buccaneers from moving on? Or will Tom Brady strike again and get to the NFC Championship?

Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Offense Needs to Bring a Punch

It’s tough to say that the Buccaneers will overcome the injuries they’ve suffered recently. The list keeps piling up and it’s affecting the offensive line immensely.

Tristan Wirfs and Josh Wells are both listed as questionable and Leonard Fournette is dealing with a hamstring issue. Hopefully, the Buccaneers will at least be able to add a few of these players back into their lineup soon.

The Buccaneers have the second-highest scoring offense in the NFL, averaging 28.53 points per game. Paired with that offense is an equally strong defense that allows only 19.37 points per game. They’ll need that defense to show up in force against the Rams who put up 34 points against the Cardinals. Especially since the Rams defense is No. 3 in the NFL.

Los Angeles Rams: Look to Stafford Again

The best part about the Los Angeles Rams is that they have a strong support system. When the offense isn’t doing well, the defense holds its ground. If the defense is allowing too many points, the offense will strike back quickly. This system is what has brought them so much success this season. The only real trouble is that they’re facing a team led by Tom Brady and Bruce Arians.

The Rams can take control of this game by putting pressure on Brady early in the game. He’s not the most mobile quarterback, which makes it easier to get to him. Aaron Donald and Von Miller should both have great games, especially if the Buccaneers are missing a few offensive tackles.

Betting Stats

As we mentioned above, the Buccaneers are the favorites in this game, but not by much. They come in as three-point favorites with their Moneyline at -148. The Rams are +128 on the Moneyline which are actually pretty great odds. The total on this game is set at 48.5 and both teams have a history of going over the total.

Each of these teams was pretty average against the spread during the regular season. Through the season, the Buccaneers only lost a single game at home. However, the Buccaneers weren’t dealing with as many injuries then as they are now.

Los Angeles Rams at Tampa Bay Buccaneers Betting Prediction

Taking injuries on both sides into account, we’re going with the Rams here. Their performance against the Cardinals was a great indication of what they can do on offense. The Buccaneers defense is good, but they’re missing a few key pieces. How they’ll be able to deal with Cooper Kupp and Odell Beckham Jr. is beyond us.

In their last ten meetings against the Buccaneers, the Rams are 7-3. In those ten games the Rams are 8-2 ATS, so keep that in mind when betting. It’s going to be a tough, yet entertaining game, so we’ll take the team with fewer injuries.
