After an emotional playoffs, NFL Draft, and ongoing offseason, the 2022 NFL season is fast approaching.

While many are already hypothesizing why their favorite teams can finally break through and win the Super Bowl this year or whether or not they have to book a ticket to London to catch their team on the road, one of the most interesting betting prospects is on team futures.

Al Davis said it best: just win, baby, win— here are the team wins totals to bet the over on.

Indianapolis Colts o9.5

Many people around the league are high on the Colts and with great reason.

Indy returns the Offensive Player of the Year, an extraordinary offensive live, and finally upgraded at quarterback by trading for former MVP Matt Ryan.

They also acquired Stephon Gilmore to solidify their backend. They will have one of the most complete outfits around the entire league.

Their division, which contains the Tennessee Titans, Jacksonville Jaguars, and Houston Texans, is also manageable, if not easy. The Titans are the only real outright contender for the title. Also, keep in mind this is a 17-game season; asking Indy to go 10-7 with a loaded roster is not too big of a burden.

Atlanta Falcons o4.5

The Falcons are not the best team in football or even a top-half team. Thankfully for their bettors, they are in a dreadful division.

The New Orleans Saints and Carolina Panthers are both going through an identity crisis, especially the latter.

Even the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the projected winner of the division, are starting a soon-to-be 45-year-old QB. They also have a new head coach now that Bruce Arians has retired.

Marcus Mariota is not the ideal captain to lead a team to the over in wins. Fortunately, with Drake London, Kyle Pitts, and Cordarelle Patterson on the roster, Atlanta will be able to come up with unique wrinkles to their offense, if nothing else.

Denver Broncos o10.5

The Broncos might have the toughest path to the over of all of these teams, given that they are competing in a division with the Los Angeles Chargers, Las Vegas Raiders, and Kansas City Chiefs; with that being said, Denver’s existing talent and newcomers are sure to combine to create a nearly-perfect unit, one that will be very capable of taking home the division crown.

Russell Wilson is a serial winner and will be behind a solid offensive line. The offensive line will be complemented by Courtland Sutton and Jerry Jeudy out wide, as well as Javonte Williams and Melvin Gordon III in the backfield.

Their defense, highlighted by newcomer Randy Gregory, is also going to be outstanding. Which will be necessary for such a high-powered division.

There are no guarantees in football or sports in general. But, these three teams are being disrespected with the wins total assigned to them. Bettors will be doing themselves a favor by betting the over for the Colts, Falcons, and Broncos before it is too late.
