The NBA Monday slate is always big, and this means player props are on full display. When betting on the NBA, it’s always smart to mix your markets.

You should take money lines, totals, and spreads. The one thing lots of bettors do not realize is how to mix player props into your betting portfolio.

The value does not end when it comes to NBA player props. The odds are typically -110, and you need to pick over/under their stat totals. Here are some plays with a lot of value to consider on Monday!

Nikola Jokic o12.5 Rebounds

Nikola Jokic is the best big man in the NBA because he can play all over the floor. When it comes to grabbing rebounds, he is tremendous in the paint. His ability to score and be aggressive on the glass is why he is an MVP.

The Nuggets center is averaging 13.5 rebounds per game, which is second in the NBA. His total is set at 12.5 in tonight’s game against the Hornets. Rebound bets are always tough because it all depends on where the ball falls.

However, the height advantage favors Jokic against the Hornets. They do not have a player that can match up with the center in the paint. This is why he had 21 rebounds in his first game this season against the Hornets.

Monte Morris o3.5 Assists

Monte Morris does not get as much time for the Nuggets as Jokic, but he makes an impact. Morris has been very good with assists as of late. He is averaging 4.3 assists per game this year, and this is not too hard when he can send it down low to Jokic.

The Hornets are a team that likes to play fast. This also feeds to more assists because of quick break points. In Morris’ past five games, he has gone over this total four times and has hit five assists twice.

If Jokic has a big night, the same will go for Morris from his PG position.

Darius Garland o24.5 Points

Darius Garland is a natural scorer that can go off at any time. On Monday, the Cavaliers will face the Magic, and I like Garland to have a big night.

In his last appearance against Orlando, he dropped 26 points. Big scoring nights have been the norm for Garland lately.

The point guard is averaging 26 PPG in his last ten and has gone over this total three times in his past five contests. I think the same goes tonight against a weak Orlando team.

Dejounte Murray o1.5 Three Pointers Made

Dejounte Murray and the Spurs will battle the Rockets tonight, and he is poised for a big night in multiple categories. Murray is a PG, but he loves to score and is not afraid of taking shots. His three-point total is set at 1.5 tonight, following his 0-5 night from beyond the arc against the Pelicans.

However, he has still gone over 1.5 threes in four of his past five. If Murray finds his stroke, I love the over for his total.
