Big betting news from FanDuel Sportsbook where every customer is getting $10 in site credit to celebrate the return of sports. Yesterday, FanDuel began placing these credits in the wallets of all new and existing users with a daily fantasy and/or online sportsbook account.
In a statement released by FanDuel on Tuesday, CMO Mike Raffensperger said “We are excited for the return of sports and wanted to give all of our customers a chance to get in on the action for free”. He went on to explain that FanDuel is doing this giveaway to thank users for their loyalty during the long stretch of no NBA, MLB and NHL.
With all three sports set to get started over the next few weeks, the site credits will surely help stimulate action on both the FanDuel DFS and Sportsbook platforms. There are no state restrictions and the only rule is that the credit must be used by August 2nd.
The campaign that will total more than $80 million in credit given away to FanDuel customers, and will also be accompanied by new TV commercials.
